Job Posting: Natural Resources & Tribal Affairs Project Manager (Staff Services Manager I)
The San Gabriel & Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy (RMC) is now accepting applications for the Natural Resources & Tribal Affairs Project Manager (Staff Services Manager I) vacancy.
This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to four days a week in accordance with DGS’s Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
Under general direction of the Staff Services Manager II at SGLLA Rivers and Mountains Conservancy (RMC), the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) is responsible for the continuous management, development and monitoring of the RMC’s joint powers authorities, bonds and related legislatures, and environmental justice and tribal issues in order to identify service deficiencies and needs and improvements to ensure State and RMC’S needs are met. The SSM I is expected to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the programs including supervising and training staff in their respective duties associated with project and budget management to ensure compliance with State, RMC, and local governmental policies
